Other events

February 17, 10.30-13.00: Society of Genealogists

Peter Towey and Sue Gibbons (member) are co-presenting a talk entitled 'Tracing Your German Ancestors'.

Venue:  SoG, 14 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, London EC1M 7BA.

April 21, 11.30- : Discovery Museum, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Karl-Heinz Wuestner will be giving a talk entitled 'Hope, Pork’s Glory and Decline - the Story of German Immigration on Tyneside'.

The format will be a lecture by Karl-Heinz, followed by questions and a plenary session in which - it is hoped - descendants of German immigrants can be encouraged to talk about their story. We would really like people to come with a story to tell and participate, very informally if they feel able.

Venue:  Discovery Museum, Blandford Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4JA
