Many thanks to the organizers of the October meeting in London. I am very happy that I was invited as a speaker and I had a great day there. Not only that I met the officials of the AGFHS there again and could listen to Corinna's lecture, I also got to know several descendants of German immigrants and got useful contacts. I enjoyed everything.

Dear AGFHS, I have been for several years now trying to find my ancestor Karl Sussenbach, born in Silesia,in about 1830, and I think dying in Gorlitz in the late 1890's.His wife Henrietta came to London after his death and lived with her eldest son,my great great grandfather. She died in 1905. I was sorry to miss Corinna Miess's talk and wondered if she might be able to help, best wishes, Nigel

Mr Peter Towey, Dear Sir, I was given your information today at the Merthyr Tydfil Family History Fair. I am searching for information in regards to Edmund Arthur Lewis, Service No. 203636, date of death 17/09/1918, Regiment 8th Bn Gloucestershire Regiment. A plaque in his home church reads, "Died at his place of work in a Coal Mine in Germany" H was later re-interned in Cologne Southern Cemetery reference XV1 B 47. I do not know if there is any information/links that may help me go further. Regards, Graham Lewis.
